As you enter Boonville Studios you find yourself in Studio A. Its the largest part of the studio with drums, keyboards, synths, amp enclosure, and room for several folks. At one our rehearsals we had 23 at once here, everyone on cans, everyone live. Yikes. 
We have had very good success recording in this room as a 5 piece band. Nothing but the drums are live as we all go straight to the preamps/interface or, if analogue, Allen and Heath console into the HD24. 
Don't let the old blankets fool you into thinking they don't make the drums in this room sound amazing. Best drum sound I have ever gotten in a room. 
 We all agree that getting the drum tracks right is everything. From there we layer. This room doesn't disappoint. 
This closet makes an ideal spot for an amp enclosure. I can get a fairly large amp in here however when we track we prefer a pedal board straight to "tape" and dub your stax later.

 Heading down the hall we have the control room first on the right and Studio B second.

Our control room has our main interface, Drawmer 1960 Pres for added warmth and Bass input, DAWS, patch bays and out board gear plus Crown D75A power amps to bring sound to the vintage Alesis Monitor One's. We also use a pair of Klipsch RB15s for referencing.  
Starting in April 2025 we will be converting our studio to Midas pres for drums, guitars, keys, and all section recordings.  Vocals, horn solos, and Bass thru the Drawmer 1960 pres, eqs, and compressors. We feel very comfortable in the quality of recordings we are getting and can't wait to share with you. 
 Our Studio B provides a near silent room atmosphere to record vocals, guitars, horns, voice overs, and horns. Anything that needs a quiet place to be captured in happens here.
