In our version here we feature one of our guitarist, Jay Thomason and the Day Drinking Horns featuring Christopher Deusinger, a St Louis lad.
It's also the second tune the newly formed rhythm section of Chris Briggs, Don Stahl, Ray Wiggs, and I put together and recorded live in the late summer of 2020. Seems fitting to release one of Chris's final tunes. Peace friends!

I have loved this song from the Doobie Brothers "Captain and Me" record for such a long time and now think of my amazing wife CJ whenever I sing it. As we got the project going I brought it to the band and we dove in. Jerry Erickson on Pedal steel really made the thing take off, Then we added Kirk Ellis on the 6 string lead and low and behold we have this tune. It is also the first song we recorded with our bassist Jeff Walker. Enjoy
